As I’ve said in a previous post, I’m pretty impressed with Phraseexpress — a text expander for Windows. Now that I’ve read the instructions I’m even more impressed. Here are some of the extra things I’ve found it can do:
- bring up a box that can open the calculator, if I type ‘calc’ in any application
- put a clipboard manager on the desktop to hold multiple copied items, which I can then select from
- add phrases with or without formatting
- add today’s date in whatever format I specify.
